Alison Park, Blink Strategic Consulting

*Not* correcting the record would be: disavowing facts (e.g. definition of genocide); miseducating students that advocacy for Palestinian lives is inherently anti-Semitic; perpetuating a consequential fallacy that justice is an either-or proposition; flouting the espoused value of free speech; and ceding critical dialogue, discernment and action when lives are literally at stake.

Dr. Hatem Bazian, Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures, UC Berkeley

Silencing Muslims voices runs contrary to our values, the U.S. Constitution, and is one documented manifestation of Islamophobia.

Martha London

Allegations of “anti-semitism” are being used to silence educators and others. This is McCarthyism and must stop now.

Eleanor Roffman, Alliance for water justice in Palestine

These women have been punished for sharing their truth and commitment to justice. I join those who are willing to address this injustice and violation of free speech. They are role models and provide leadership to those around them as advocates of justice willing to deal with the consequences. We need to offer whatever support we can.

Kathryn Dudum, UCSF

The cognitive dissonance in this case is frightening. Mass murder and land theft is being committed in Palestine, and those who speak up about it are being threatened into silence or punished for their insolence.

Voices speaking out for freedom, justice and equality for Palestine are righteous.
Smearing such speech as antisemitic is atrocious and only serves as subterfuge to allow the continuation of genocide and other crimes against humanity.
