Teach Climate Justice? Tell Your Story and Get a Free Book!

How do you teach climate justice?

The Zinn Education Project Teach Climate Justice campaign offers free lessons and a timeline about climate change and what people can do about it. We want to hear from teachers who have used Zinn Education Project resources to teach about climate change in any subject.

Thanks to donations by an author and publishers, we will send you a copy of Paradise on Fire by Jewell Parker Rhodes, The World We Need: Stories and Lessons from America’s Unsung Environmental Movement by Audrea Lim, or We Are the Middle of Forever: Indigenous Voices from Turtle Island on the Changing Earth edited by Dahr Jamail and Stan Rushworth in appreciation for your teaching story.

Describe how you used one or more of our lessons or the climate crisis timeline to teach about climate change, environmental activism, and issues related to land rights to participate in the book giveaway. You may offer teaching stories about any of our climate justice lessons or timeline:

See What Teachers Are Saying to explore our library of classroom stories. Submit your Teach Climate Justice story and it may appear on our website. When filling out the form, let us know which book you would like to receive.
