The Zinn Education Project offers workshops tailored to our Teach Climate Justice, Teach Reconstruction, Teach Rosa Parks, and the Teach the Black Freedom Struggle campaigns as well as on a variety of people’s history topics. All of our workshops are participatory, demonstrate exemplary teaching activities, and are geared towards educators and teacher educators.
Currently we are offering workshops at regional and national conferences (such as Northwest Teachers for Social Justice and the National Council for the Social Studies) and for the Teaching for Black Lives Teacher Study Groups. We are also hosting online classes with people’s historians as part of the Teach the Black Freedom Struggle campaign. The online classes are free and open to the public.
If you are interested in hosting an online workshop for teachers or teacher educators, submit your request through our online form.
